1. O transplante fica com aparência natural?
Sim.
This can be also referred to as hair self-transplant since the patient is the donor of his own new hair-bearing scalp. In general, a person suffers from baldness has hair on the back and side portions of the scalp. This is the area from where grafts and flaps are taken and much attention is given to preserving this region
Later, each graft (one at a time) is placed on the area where the transplant is desired. It is possible to place up to 3,000 new grafts in only one stage.
Hair Loss – Norwood´s Classification
The scar derived from the hair-bearing scalp is not visible since it is located amidst the hair. The area that receives the graft forms a scab for the first few days, but this disappear over time. This surgery can be performed more than once depending on the level of baldness.
For this procedure, a local anesthesia is used and the surgery lasts an average of 4 hours. The patient is allowed to go home following the surgery.
