Mini-abdominoplasty

Like the tummy tuck surgery, the purpose of this procedure is to remove the excess skin and/or fat from the lower abdominal region, but with a smaller incision – approximately the size of a caesarian scar.

The navel’s position is changed and repositioned without remodeling it, as in the tummy tuck procedure. This allows a diastasis correction of the abdominal muscles (the muscles become separated).

This procedure is usually combined with liposuction in the trunk region, such as the back, waist and abdomen. The recommended anesthesia is peridural and the procedure lasts from 2 to 2 ½ hours.
